THE ART OF ORIGAMI

Origami is the Japanese art of creating three-dimensional paper forms through intricate patterns of folding. It is meditative and joyful art form. The endless possibilities of paper-folding encourage creative expression in different degrees of complexity and intricacy – origami can create a small paper figurine, an artistic and useful box or a large sculptural installation to fill a room.  

This workshop will be led by origami artist Aditi Anuj of Adigami Studio, who will take us through the fundamentals of origami that will open up the sense of freedom that paper folding can offer by transforming a single sheet of paper into artistic, imaginative forms. 

The session is inclusive of all craft materials, which will be provided by Nila House.
