REIMAGINING SCRAPS : MAKING ZERO-WASTE TOYs
17th September 2021 (Friday)
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm IST / 10:30 am - 12:30 pm GMT
Online via Zoom
Off-cuts from the studio floor or forgotten textiles in a cupboard can be repurposed to make imaginative toys that get a second life in the hands of our younger friends. With a few easy to replicate techniques you can learn how to turn trash into treasures that carry a special meaning since they are made by hand.
Every bit of textile is made using precious resources and tremendous skill. Reimagining scraps as toys for children is a wonderful way to share your creative expression and introduce zero-waste ideas in your everyday life.
